*Qualifications:

Plant Based World Expo North America is a trade only event. Qualified attendees are buyers, manufactures, suppliers and business service providers in the Plant-Based Industry. We reserve the final say in business type qualification. 

Retail: An online or physical store selling more than one product line to consumers. Including: Independent Grocers, Natural Markets, Convenience Stores, Mass Merchandiser, e-commerce, etc. Not applicable if you are only selling your own brand.

Foodservice: A business operating in the industry related to preparing, distributing, or selling prepared/ready-to-eat foods. Including: restaurants, schools, universities, hospitals and care facilities, hotels, resorts, airlines, catering, clubs, corporate dining, coffee shop, quick service restaurant.

Distributor: A wholesaler, distributor, or importer of finished products. To qualify as a distributor you must represent more than one supplier’s product line in addition to any brands owned by your company.

Health Practitioner: A nutritionist, physician or others involved in the field of medicine whether traditional or alternative who does not influence purchasing decisions. If you are a nutritionist who influences institutional purchasing decisions, select Foodservice during registration.

Ingredients Supplier or Raw Ingredient Distributor: A business which provides raw materials, ingredients or flavors for manufacturing finished products. 

Manufacturer: A business which produces a finished product for an end consumer in retail or foodservice. Includes a manufacturer of private label products.

Business Services: A business who provides solutions or support to Retailers, Foodservice, Distributors, Manufactures, and Ingredient Suppliers. Types of businesses include: consultants, broker, equipment company, co-packer,  advertising/PR, Not for Profit, Publisher, Research, Legal, Investors, Financial Institutions, Associations, Design and Government Agencies. 

Press & Influencers:  Members of the press and influencers may apply for press credentials.  Press registration will open by July 20, 2024. Visit the press page to register for a press or influencer pass.

Exhibitor Booth Staff Registration:  Exhibitor Registration will be available in June and may be accessed through the Exhibitor Manual.

Terms & Conditions:

All PBW attendees must have a badge to access the expo hall and conference sessions.  

Plant Based World North America is a trade event and is not open to the public. No one under the age of 16 including infants will be admitted.  

Show management reserves the right to qualify any and all attendees to its events. We reserve the right to deny access to any individual that does not qualify, at our discretion, as an industry professional to attend. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove from the Event facilities any person who in our sole and absolute discretion is behaving or threatening to behave in a manner which we reasonably consider to be disruptive of the Event.  

A limit of 2 persons per Non-Exhibiting Supplier Company may attend.  PBW reserves the right to refuse registration and entrance to any person from a  Non-Exhibiting Supplier, Manufacturer, Broker or Business Services.

Cancellation: Cancellations received prior to July 19 will receive a refund less a $25 service fee.  After July 19th  no refunds will be issued. Substitutions may be made at any time and without charge. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to JD Events.   

Method of Payment: Payments must be made in US Dollars. PBW accepts VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. Payment must be received prior to the program date. Corporate Pos are not accepted.  

COVID-19 Safety Precautions 

 By attending Plant Based World Expo North America, you agree to voluntarily assume all risks related to potential exposures and agree to not hold JD Events or any of their affiliates including partners, sponsors, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, volunteers, hotels and venues liable for any claims related to COVID-19. You also agree to not attend Plant Based World Expo North America if you feel ill or had a recent exposure to a COVID-19 case.  

Suitcasing: PBW does not permit suitcasing at the show. Suitcasing is the act of soliciting business in the aisles during the expo or in other public spaces by non-exhibiting companies. Anyone observed suitcasing will be removed from the show floor. This policy will be agreed to by all members of the non-buying community in order to be granted entrance to the show.

Consent for Use of Photographic Images: Registration and attendance at, or participation in PBW, constitutes an agreement by the registrant to permit show management’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant’s image or voice in photographs, videos, and other electronic reproductions of such events.  

Substitutions: Substitutions can be made at any time up to September 9, 2024. Submit your substitution in writing to [email protected].  

Animals: Animals are not allowed at the Show. The only exception is for service animals, which must be kept under control at all times.  

Rolling Carts & Bags: For safety reasons, rolling carts and rolling bags are not permitted on the Show floor during Show floor hours. Exhibitors may roll in small briefcases and small backpacks each day from 8:00 am -10:00 am prior to the Show floor opening. All bags and exhibitor freight are subject to security search  

Promotional Material: By allowing exhibitors to scan your badge, you may receive promotional material from exhibitor by direct mail or email.  

Promo Codes: Promo Codes may not be combined or applied to previously purchased passes.  

Program Changes: JD Events reserves the right to provide qualified substitute speakers in the event of emergency, illness or other like event. If for any reason JD Events has to cancel a workshop or track session the attendee is still responsible for the full amount of their registration fee. JD Events will make every attempt to immediately notify registrants of any changes or cancellations.  

 

Hold Harmless Policy 

You hereby agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless (and to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law, you hereby expressly release and discharge) (i) JD Events and its equity owners and affiliates; (ii) the Show facility and its owners, affiliates, lessors and lessees; and (iii) official exhibit service contractors and security services (all of the foregoing in clauses (i) through (iii), collectively, “Show Providers”), and each of their respective officers, directors, officials, employees, agents, contractors, and representatives (collectively, “Representatives”) from and against any and all alleged and/or actual claims, actions, lawsuits, proceedings, damages, penalties, demands, losses, expenses, fees (including reasonable attorney fees), costs or liabilities of any kind or nature whatsoever (collectively, “Claims”), including but not limited to any Claim for property damage and/or personal injury, in connection with, caused by or arising out of the attendance at and/or participation in the Show by (A) you, (B) your Representatives (or any other party acting on your behalf), or (C) any of your servants, invitees, patrons or guests (all of the foregoing in clauses (B) and (C),collectively, “Related Parties”), whether as a result of (i) your or any Related Party’s act, omission, negligence or willful misconduct, (ii) your or any Related Party’s violation of any policy of, or breach or alleged breach of any agreement with, JD Events or any other Show Provider, (iii) your or any Related Party’s violation of any applicable law, regulation, rule, or ordinance, (iv) your or any Related Party’s infringement of any third party rights, including without limitation, the infringement of any patented, trademarked, franchised or copyrighted music, materials, devices or dramatic rights used or incorporated in the Show by you or any Related Party, or (v) otherwise, and in each case, whether or not foreseeable. This provision shall survive any termination or expiration of this agreement.
