
Kristen Hartke is a food journalist, recipe developer and culinary producer living in New York City, with a specialty in plantbased foods. She is a regular contributor to the Washington Post, NPR, Eating Well, Better Homes & Gardens, and other national publications, and has worked with many chefs, including Carla Hall, Jacques Pépin, Virginia Willis, and Chadwick Boyd. She was recipe tester for Joe Yonan’s acclaimed plantbased cookbook “Cool Beans” and is currently working as both recipe tester and developer for his upcoming book “Mastering the Art of Plant Based Cooking”.
