Dr. Devrim Ikizler got his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2011, and since then he has been providing economic research and consulting for the industry. His primary areas of expertise are sustainable economic systems and computational predictive modeling. He founded IAMECON in 2018, an analytic research firm that builds economic forecasting models to analyze the sustainability of economic systems. Its clients include Humane Society of the United States, Animal Legal Defense Fund, Center for Food Safety, Good Food Institute, Food Systems Innovation Research etc. Dr. Ikizler has also been a part-time lecturer at the University of Texas at Austin since 2015 teaching undergraduate economic courses.
