
Sabina Vyas is the senior director of impact strategies at the Plant Based Foods Association where she leads their food service, partnerships, content development, and strategic growth initiatives. In her role she creates partnerships with food service institutions, distributors, and non-profits with the goal to get more plant-based foods on the menu everywhere you eat outside of the home. She is also focused on developing content to help boost the plant-based industry in the marketplace. She is particularly interested in increasing access to healthy plant-based foods, sustainability, and working towards a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive plant-based industry. Her previous roles with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Kaiser Permanente, and a global consulting firm included designing and implementing programs, education, developing content, and training and technical assistance for communities. Sabina received her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Southern California, and she is certified in Plant Based Nutrition by the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies.
