Dr. Robert Ostfeld MDDirector, Preventative CardiologyMontefiore Health System

Dr. Ostfeld, a cardiologist, received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and a Masters in Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health. He did his medical internship and residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital and his Cardiology Fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital, both teaching Hospitals of Harvard Medical School. He is the Director of Preventive Cardiology and the founder and director of the Cardiac Wellness Program at Montefiore, where patients are encouraged to adopt a plant-based diet.  He speaks widely about plant-based nutrition and conducts related research.
